Hello Internet

I used to blog quite a bit when my kids were little, i did the blogger thing and then the WordPress thing. Eventually everything shifted to Facebook and blogging died out. This isn't really for the internet this is for me. My kids are growing up - the oldest will be 18 this year, the youngest half way there. Time flies and moms disappear inside their kids.

So here we are on New Year's Eve's Eve and it's time to make some resolutions I can completely ignore or slightly ignore. I'm going to be 42 this year but I still enjoy the thought of setting my intentions for the year whether I keep them or not.

  • reading - read 45 books last year I read 40 and I really just eked that in, 45 might be a little rough but I'm going to go for it
  • crafting - just do it and finish them I think I only have two unfinished projects currently (1 I have finished and am waiting for my husband to put hooks on) and I hope to wrap that up in then next week and pass both off to my mom. for the rest of the year craft often and enjoy it
  • cleaning regimen - I don't know how long I can get away with blaming covid for things but I think I'm going to continue using it until I can smell again. I had a pretty good one going until covid knocked us on our asses in January 21. I'm going to get back on it and keep the house clean and fresh.
  • working out - I have two apps one I use and one that's new, I think I like them both and will try to utilize them daily but at least 5 times a week. I read pushups and how many you can do is a good indicator of whether you will have a heart attack, I'm going to continue working on that. I can do 100 easily against the wall but when I move to the floor it kills my elbow from whatever I did to injure it over the summer. I don't know how many steps I can take but my goal by the end of the year is 10000 a day.
  • eating - keto when I can no guilt when I can't
  • take more pictures - I mean really maybe it's because I grew up in a different time when we had to conserve the film I want more pictures of my kids and Craig and myself.
  • blog everyday and track track track my progress and what I'm doing
